I Really enjoyed this!~ I would like to know when this interview took place. I am a great fan of the pulps and the Shadow, tho I think Lester Dent was a much more 'readable' author than Mister Gibson. This interview was incredible! All this AND Mister Gibson wears his belt directly under his armpits!
The interview was perhaps done in the 1970s. It's part of a Canadian TV series, "Saturday Night at the Movies", which began in 1974. Gibson died in 1985.
The Gibson interview must be after 1979, when "The Shadow Scrapbook" was published. He is talking like it has already gone out of print. I remember buying it new in a bookstore. I had never heard of the Shadow, but the George Rozen painted covers grabbed me!
