"Blobs!"

"Blobs!" was Harvey Kurtzman's satire of E.M. Forster's 1909 story The Machine Stops. This was Wally Wood's first work for Mad--since it appeared in Mad's first issue.

Brilliant. Great writing and great art. I had almost forgotten this one. As with most of EC's adaptations, this is as good as the original.
